Cedar Fair Begins 2008 with a Bang

Cedar Fair yesterday reported a net revenue of $10.4 million, a 35% increase from last year's first quarter.
CEO Dick Kinzel thanks the warm weather which allowed for Kings Dominion and California's Great America to open a week earlier than last year.
Cedar Fair's increase in parks since their Paramount Parks aquisition also helped boost revenue naturally, allowing for Cedar Fair to operate more parks, in turn making more money.
Q1 though is the tip of the iceberg for Cedar Fair's overall revenue for the year, a mere 5% of their total expected revenue.
This is to say, they still have 95% more revenue to make during the summer months.
