Hershey's 101st season debuts this year with the grand opening of Fahrenheit!
Fahrenheit opens as the park's 11th roller coaster to dominate the skyline, pictured here.
Hersheypark has two themes this season: one is Cool down with The Boardwalk, with the other, Heat up with Fahrenheit!
Fahrenheit's station is quite elaborate-including a stained wood ceiling.
The station has two queue options: one for single riders, one for parties of two or more.
Riders are assigned row options to speed attraction capacity. During low crowds guests can opt to wait for the front row.

The attraction features a 97-degree drop, the steepest in the United States as of current.
A train of 12 passengers embarks up the vertical lift hill.
Unique
to this attraction, manufacturer Intamin AG designed two separate chain
lifts, contra single with anti-rollbacks. The result is a quiet and
efficient lift.
Another view of the vertical lift hill.
At the peak of the lift hill, the train lingers for a moment just long enough to view the whole area from 121 feet in the sky.
The attraction borders the midway, which provides great photo opportunities.
The 97-degree drop creates quite a rush.
At
the bottom guests reach 58 miles per hour, greeted by a camera snapping
a photo opportunity for guests, then proceeds into the Norwegian Loop
element.
The Norwegian Loop derives its name from Speed Monster's element at Tusenfryd, located in Norway.
A train of passengers begins the 107-foot loop.
Riders experience "hang time" and positive g-forces on the element, marking it as one of the attraction's signature elements.

This
overbank turn pursues after two Corkscrew elements, where riders then
enter an airtime-filled hill, and proceed into another banked curve
into the ending brakes.
Thanks
for viewing just a touch of Fahrenheit at Hersheypark-sure to be one
hot attraction! In the words of Hersheypark, the attraction can only be
described as, "sweet." Thanks to Nick Pantalone for the photography; he
is recognized as The Storm Runner in the Community.
